Abstract :
The demand of smaller and more efficient DC-DC power converters has led to an increase of their operating frequency. Resonant topologies commonly used for the frequency range above a hundred kilohertz suffer from several disadvantages which include high voltage and current stress on semiconductor devices, large AC energy flow with associated power loss and necessity to vary the operating frequency to control the output voltage. The aim of this work is to perform an accurate analysis of a flyback power converter-nondissipative snubber system and an optimisation based on the overall losses
