Abstract :
This paper proposes a detailed test procedure for measurement of radiated spurious emissions (from a 3G Wireless Base Station) in a semi-anechoic chamber by means of ´signal substitution´. The proposed method may be adopted suitably for meeting the requirements of the FCC Rules Part 22 and 24 radiated spurious emissions requirements for licensed transmitters. This paper also quantifies the effect of relevant source parameters. Finally, the expanded measurement uncertainty for the test is estimated using a ´Type B´ analysis.
