Abstract :
This paper proposes a robust sliding mode observer and applies it to realize the chaos synchronization for a class of the chaotic systems with the internal parameter uncertainties and/or the external disturbances. A new control strategy is used in the robust sliding mode observer. In order to guarantee the requirement of single transmission line between the master chaotic system and the slave chaotic system, a new method of multidimensional signal transmission via one single transmission channel is proposed. The paper applies the above transmission method to the chaos synchronization for uncertain chaotic systems with multi uncertainties. For verification and demonstration, the approach of chaos synchronization using robust observer is applied to hyperchaotic Chua´s circuit. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the method presented in the paper
