Abstract
A frequency domain interval Gramian based model reduction scheme for discrete time systems is presented. The method yields the stable reduced order models for stable original systems. The bounds on the approximation error are also derived. The method is further extended to 2D separable denominator system approximation. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme
