Abstract
The deregulation and unbundling of electricity markets in many countries worldwide bring new perspectives for fuel cells. This work presents a new flux modulation approach for the closed-loop control of the output voltage of inverters for fuel cell power plants. Criteria for designing a fuzzy logic controller are illustrated and a comparison with the conventional flux control technique is shown. The proposed control scheme can achieve command pulses for low ripple current and constant switching frequency.
