Abstract
This paper studies a number of linear systems using quantized feedback. First, we revisit the work by Elia and Mitter on quadratic stabilization of linear systems using quantized state feedback and show that their result on coarsest quantization density can be simply obtained from known quadratic stabilization theory by treating the quantization error as sector-bounded uncertainty. This reinterpretation allows us to generalize their work to quantized output feedback and multi-input-multi-output systems.
