Abstract
In this paper, robust filtering theory is applied to the estimation problem in an intercept system. First, the intercept system is analyzed. A robust filtering problem is formulated for missile seekers. The designs of robust filters is also discussed. A design example is given to illustrate how the new technique can improve the performance of an intercept system
