Abstract
In this paper, the radial basis function (RBF) interpolation method is used to design fractional delay FIR filter. As a result, the design error can be reduced by suitably choosing the shape parameter of radial basis function. Design examples are demonstrated to show that the proposed RBF-based method has a smaller design error than those of the conventional Lagrange and window fractional delay FIR filters when using the same design parameters.
