Abstract :
We investigate the decoding technique and performance of concatenated Hadamard codes. Efficient soft-in-soft-out decoding algorithms based on the fast Hadamard transform are developed. The performance required by CDMA mobile or PCS speech services, e.g., BER=10 -3, can be achieved at Eb/N0=0.5 dB using short interleaver length of 198 bits
