Abstract :
A probe has been perfected which makes a relation between the velocity of the flow of a dielectric liquid and the current due to the convection of a part of the electrical diffuse layer. The theoretical diffuse layer appearing on a flat plate and for a liquid at rest is computed. Then. when the liquid is moving, the electric charge convected and the potential difference in two points of the plate are obtained. The probe is described along with the experiments made all along a cross section of a pipe inside of which a hydrocarbon liquid is flowing.<>
