  • Abstract
    In this paper, we describe a system for vehicle collision avoidance basing on single chip processor ATmega16. A new method which resolves transmitting receipting circuits in ultrasonic distance measure system is brought forward. Because of the influence of temperature on the ultrasonic wave, an increasing temperature compensation circuit is added to eliminate the error. The measuring errors owing to feeble echo wave are decreased by automatic gain control (AGC) circuits. Based on this idea, the software of ultrasonic distance measure system has been designed. This system has been tested and we compare the data with actual data. Results show that the measured precision of the warning system is much higher.
