Abstract
When multiple tags are in the range of the reader´s action, RFID system needs to use anti-collision algorithm in order to solve the problem of data collision. This paper analyzes the basic implementation of binary search algorithm and dynamic binary search algorithm, and it puts forward a new anti-collision algorithm on this basis. The algorithm introduces an tag status register Rn to record the status of labels, and it uses the searching method combined forward search and backward search to reduce the tag search range greatly. This algorithm makes full use of obtained collision information to reduce the amount of data which the reader sends. There are two performance parameters that are paging number of readers and the data of binary transmission, emulated by the Matlab7.0 software. This algorithm has obvious advantages more than basic binary search algorithm and dynamic binary search algorithm.
