Abstract
This work presents the study of optical power optimization in optical links that requires Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) suppression. It will be considered the Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) response curve when the suppression is performed by the frequency modulation of the signal LASER. The methodology applied can be utilized in different cases even without the EDFA.
