Abstract :
We report the first, to our knowledge, femtosecond, oscillator, chirped-pulse, regenerative-amplifier system based Cr:ZnSe. To date, we have generated, at a 1-kHz rate, 0.3-mJ, 300-fs pulses (1 GW peak power) centered at 2475 nm.
