Abstract :
Based on the deeply research on the VDLM2 protocol, this paper does research on the air-ground IP/VDLM2 communications system. Then the OPNET Modeler software is used to model the above system and the performance of the network is analyzed, including end-to-end data link layer delay, throughput and percentage of lost packets. The simulation and analysis of this paper help the optimization of protocol parameters, and the evaluation and improvement of the system performance.
