Abstract
In this paper, the operating principle of a soft-switching three-phase PWM inverter circuit and its experimental result verification are discussed and analyzed firstly. Then a comparative method is employed to obtain the detailed mathematical description of power loss and efficiency for the discussed soft-switching inverter circuit, and presents the power loss simplified models of inverter circuit and its power devices. At last, in a practical circuit, the analytic conclusions are verified by some related experiments.
