Abstract :
Two-dimensional cardiac ultrasound (US) is widely used in minimally invasive cardiac procedures due to its cheap, convenience of use and noninvasive nature. However, the limitation of 2D US images often limits their utility as a means for guiding procedures, and 3D/4D US instruments workstation is expensive, which limits the utility of widely diagnose. In is paper, a 3D/4D cardiac ultrasound workstation is created based on cheap 2D ultrasound instruments, the principle, algorithm are described, and a fast regional 3D/4D recreation method is proposed, the results show that our scheme can make the 3D registration fast and successfully, and the hardware requirements of computer and US instruments are very low, which can be used for diagnose in poor and remote country/district.
