  • Abstract
Beneficial in terms of improved reliability, energy services, operational life and energy efficiency, VRB-ESS and its integrated power system have brought forth the highest form of perfection in generation and distribution. This paper analyzes the interaction among components of hybrid power system (HPS), as well as the relative size of the components that is used efficiently at an optimum rate. Using developed Microsoft excel methodology, the different HPSs have been simulated for the building load profile and aim to optimize the averaged unit energy cost - US$ per kWh for each configuration of HPS.
