Abstract
In this paper we present an artificial immune system implemented on GPU (graphical processing unit) for visual applications. Immune response inspired algorithms need parallel processing and can efficiently exploit the computational power of GPUs. Performance evaluation shows that our implementation gives faster solution than previous methods. Experimental results are reported to demonstrate that the system can classify objects and detect dynamical changes in image sequences.
