Abstract
This paper describes practical solutions for constructing the ubiquitous network for building and home control system. Hybrid network, which consists of the RF wireless network based on the ZigBeetrade specifications and the power/pipe line communication network with high frequency band dispersed-tone method, are developed. We have constructed an appliance control systems on the proposed hybrid network and have installed them into actual building and home for evaluation. High performance and high reliability have been confirmed trough the field test over one year.
