Abstract :
This paper proposed the hierarchical access control scheme based on key tree mechanism in digital broadcasting conditional access (CA) system. The proposed scheme optimizes the connection network which is used in the multi-group (MG) scheme (Y. Sun and K.J.R. Liu, 2004). As a result, we archived up to 20% and 9% improvement for a storage and rekey overhead, respectively.
