Abstract :
For the application in a cellular common-code spread-spectrum multiple access system, referred to as code time division multiple access (CTDMA), the ambiguity function of the binary spreading sequence and its mismatched despreading filter is optimized. In cellular CTDMA systems, the user signals are first separated by a symbol-level TDMA scheme and then spread in a DS-CDMA fashion by a common (cell-specific) binary spreading sequence
