Abstract
In this article, it was designed a 14C-UBT analyzer for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori infection non-invasively. It detects 14C activity by CO2 collecting card in thin-window Geiger-Müller counters. The minimum effective activity of 14C, the instrument properties about accuracy and repeatability of diagnosing Hp infection, and the radiation dose of one single test has been discussed. The results indicated that the analyzer designed in the article can be 92%, and it has advantages including safe, easy to diagnose and low cost.
