Abstract
A high-performance and simple CMOS interface circuit for differential-capacitance transducers is presented and its main performance is evaluated. The solution is based on a capacitance to current conversion that allows low-voltage operation, while providing both high speed and accuracy. A 2-V implementation using a 0.8-μm process is finally developed. SPICE simulation results confirming the suitability of the approach are also given.
