  • Abstract
Blind identification consists of estimating the impulse response of a linear, time-invariant channel used for transmission of digital data by observing the channel output without knowledge of the transmitted symbol sequence. The aim of this paper is twofold. First we compare, in order to assess their applicability to the equalization of digital radio links affected by selective fading, some recently proposed algorithms based on the second-order statistics of the received signal. Further we show how one of these algorithms can be modified to account for correlated noise
