Abstract
This paper proposes a formalized transformation of structural business rules to the design level representation. The SBVR Structured English is used as standard for representing business rules and UML class diagram is employed as a notation to represent the static view of information systems (IS) in the design level. This transformation technique is critical, especially in IS area where business rules can be very complex and therefore a thorough integration into design model is desirable. Without a proper transformation of business rules to the design level, many contents will not be fully captured in the model. The proposed transformation rules can ensure the correctness (through a formalization technique) and the flexible integration with any kind of applications.
