A development environment for telecommunications management network

Variety and complexity involved in telecommunications management make it difficult to manage telecommunications networks efficiently and effectively. In order to overcome this problem, the concept of the telecommunications management network (TMN) which provides integrated management capabilities has been conceived recently. We describe a development process for TMN and an environment supporting this process. Currently this environment consists of four tools: a GDMO editor, a viewer, an analyzer and a schema generator.
