Abstract :
Content sharing in digital rights management (DRM) system has long been a challenge and a key technical issue. In this paper, a novel content sharing scheme using trust degree based usage control model is proposed. It is a dynamic and safe fine-grained right super-distribution model. The user can conveniently re-distribute their transferable rights object (TRO) to others, and DRM system can dynamically adjust the re-distributing TRO according to the trust degree of the receiver and his/her device, thus controlling receiver´s usage behavior on shared contents, as well as efficiently and properly protecting the security of contents after super-distribution. The proposed scheme is used for designing a user-friendly DRM system for content sharing to satisfy both users and service providers.
