Abstract :
This paper presents a smooth viewpoint change scheme for multiview video using view interpolation based on image warping techniques. The proposed method produces high-quality scenes for continuously changing viewpoints and needs only cost-effective coding overheads. The proposed scheme facilitates seamless viewpoint-aware video playback and provides a new experience for video entertainments, like sports or performance.
