Abstract
The World Wide Web has become one of the fastest growing electronic information sources. Yet, people access to knowledge is not a corresponding increase in efficiency. In order to improve efficiency, in this paper, the knowledge resources in the network are re-defined by object-oriented thinking, and three-layer knowledge-sharing model is proposed. Secondly, combined with recent technology on Web2.0, a knowledge-sharing system is built on the Internet, allowing knowledge acquisition, sharing, extension and retrieve. Then the process of knowledge sharing and cycle are discussed by illustration. Finally, advantages can be shown after comparing difference between traditional search system and knowledge-sharing system. While many of pervious works have concentrated on how to share knowledge in enterprises, this paper focuses on how individuals and groups more efficient to share knowledge on the Internet.
