Abstract :
Resources in grid system are common facilities for which numerous users compete, while the competition is no longer restricted in single type of resource but combination of various type and amount of resources. Economic model has been argued as an effective way to establish genuine and rational mechanism for resource configuration, fit for resolving problems of resource management and allocation in grid environment. We propose an economic policy constrained grid resource allocation algorithm to allocate resources for users with combination requests, by optimizing economic benefits of a multi-unit combinatorial auction, effectiveness and rationality on resource co-allocation can be assured.
