Abstract :
The papers [1][2] presented an adaptive best- effort tree construction algorithm with fault tolerance. In this paper, we present applications to [1] showing how to (1) build QoS trees and paths, (2) build fault-tolerant multi-source and single or multi-root trees, (3) build link-disjoint trees, (4) discover the tree topology, and (5) support multi-party conferencing. We demonstrate the operations of the algorithms using computer simulations.
