Abstract :
A well placement design to improve GSM/DCS and GPS antenna isolation is proposed. The GSM/DCS antenna comprises two branches that the longer one is for GSM900 and the shorter one is for DCS1800. The proposed main antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 104 MHz and 187 MHz respectively in GSM900 and DCS1800 bands, with VSWR of 3:1. The GPS subsidiary antenna works in L1 band (1575.5 MHz). The isolation between GSM900/DCS1800 and GPS antennas is over 21.3 dB. The more experimental results and analysis will be presented.
