  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. We have successfully demonstrated the generation of 15-/spl mu/J, 25-fs pulses at 290 nm with high peak-power at 1 kHz repetition rate. These ultrashort pulses will be very suitable to be used as the seed pulses of TW Ce:LiCaAlF/sub 6/ (Ce:LiCAF) laser system that is expected to become a new source for generation of coherent XUV light.
