Abstract
We investigate the eigenmodes of a traveling-wave phase-sensitive optical parametric amplifier. We observe gain (deamplification) of 11.4 dB (-7.9 dB) for a Laguerre-Gaussian LG00 mode with >;95% overlap with the fundamental eigenmode.
