Abstract :
For cross-certification in the PKI (public key infrastructure), there are many mechanisms in the reality. This paper provides a high level view of the various "dimensions" involved in achieving PKI interoperability and analyzes the advantages and the disadvantages of each method. At the end of the paper, we bring forward the BCA mechanism in China (CNBCA) and talk about the demonstration phase of the CABCA.
