Abstract :
In this paper, active tendon control of a cable-stayed guideway subjected to a constant moving load applied directly to the guideway is investigated. A physically realizable controller, based on the dynamics of hydraulic actuators, is developed, and is shown to be effective in attenuating the traffic load induced vibratory response
