Abstract :
In order to simplify arithmetic operators and avoid tough calculating iron loss, vector control for induction motor neglects iron loss in engineering. However, neglecting iron loss, decoupling control of vector control is not realized exactly, which declines the performance of control system. With the development of parameter identification, the parameter of iron loss can be identified in real-time accurately. The paper founds the equivalent circuit and mathematic model considering iron loss, analyzes influence and characteristics to control system. Based on the model considering iron loss, a proposed control has been presented. The method realizes decoupling control of torque and flux by controlling components of gap current, which indirectly command stator currents to achieve vector control. Simulation results indicate the improvement of the proposed control in dynamic performance. It is necessary to popularize the control in engineering.
