Abstract
As the use of small portable and mobile computing devices increases, the MANET (mobile ad hoc network) is becoming an increasingly popular topic of research and development activities. MANET is power constrained since nodes operate with limited battery energy. To maximize the lifetime of these networks at the same time of holding the conventional network performance, a new DSR-base energy saving routing is proposed and analyze in this paper.
