Abstract
Summary from only given. All-solid-state high-power UV lasers are demanded for high-quality material processing such as drilling on printed wiring boards and fabricating fiber Bragg gratings. We have developed a number of such laser systems based on high-power Nd:YVO/sub 4/ laser oscillators coupled to external fourth harmonic generation modules.
