Abstract :
Circular polarization phased array radar is low-cost high-performance modern radar, and has an encouraging application vista. However the polarization screen cannot be adopted in this kind of radar to reduce the cross polarization jamming, and on the other hand, the generation of cross-polarized wave for a circularly polarized wave is much easier than the linear polarization case. The authors give their countermeasure to cross polarization jamming based on the analysis of its phase shift principle, and point out the use off axis tracking rather than conventional on axis tracking to suppress cross polarization jamming
