Abstract
The Internet of Things presents numerous challenges to achieve the vision of interconnecting "all" things, with the need for extreme miniaturization of computing devices that are energy efficient, human-to-computer interfaces that are natural, and processing of layers of intelligence while ensuring data security and privacy. This paper will describe "rebooting computing", an approach to rethinking the computer to address technical challenges of IoT and other key computing trends.
