Abstract :
A planar dual-composite right/left-handed (D-CRLH) transmission line (TL) structure is proposed. Dispersion diagram of the unit cell is investigated. Because of the presence of parasitic effects, the dispersion diagram is similar to the diagram of balanced CRLH TL. For this consideration, a D-CRLH leaky-wave antenna is proposed. The measured results show that the proposed antenna can offer a scanning angle covering almost backfire-to-endfire directions.
