Abstract :
Summary form only given. We demonstrate the results on application of high power ytterbium seeded fiber amplifier for up to 3.8 W, 350 nm wide continua generation in holey fibre (HF) with different dispersion profiles. Two types of HF were used, with 1.6 /spl mu/m and 2.6 /spl mu/m core sizes.
