Abstract :
A solution is proposed to achieve a novel all purpose programmable radar system based on DSP, PCI/Compact PCI bus and Windows system, and a new raster scan conversion algorithm is proposed. The system offers a full software console, which can be applied to achieve many kinds of radar systems. This paper describes the architecture of the new system, especially the digital signal processing (DSP) subsystem, and dual-video display subsystem. The hardware implementation of digital signal processing subsystem and dual-video display subsystem is introduced in detail. On the basis of the hardware, a new raster scan conversion algorithm, the software raster scan conversion algorithm, is proposed
