Abstract
Telecom service development process followed at Orange consists of a sequence of interrelated tasks. We present a tool prototype which associates a model to each task described using a graphical editor. This not only helps in raising the abstraction level for understandability of the overall development process, but also serves for automating some of these tasks with the use of model transformation. The existing reusable components available in the knowledge model at Orange serve as the basis for this task automation. Models are validated automatically for conformance to functional rules embedded inside the tool and warnings are generated in case of anomalies.
