Abstract
Possibilities for the improvement of the scanning properties of radar antennas are demonstrated by using diffractive quasi-optic elements as focusing elements. These elements can be made on any surface. Thus, there is an opportunity to make a radar antenna as a part of a typical detail of an automobile such as a bumper, hood, headlight or radiator. Diffractive MM-wave lenses on a spherical or aspherical surface are used as antenna focusing elements
