Abstract :
For MMSE interpolation filter, the relations among the filter length M, the transition bandwidth omegaDelta, the passband ripple delta and the sampling delay mu are discussed in this paper. To utilize linear regression via extensive computational study of the relations among the parameters of interpolation filter, we expose an accurate empirical formula for the required MMSE interpolation filter length. The simulation results show that the proposed empirical formula for MMSE interpolation filter is accurate exactly.
