Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report a approach which accesses the mid and long-wave IR regions using a single ZnGeP/sub 2/ optical parametric oscillator (OPO) stage driven by a tunable Cr/sup 2+/:ZnSe pump laser. This is the first report of a longwave Cr/sup 2+/:ZnSe pumped OPO.
