Abstract :
Summary from only given. We report, for the first time, an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on CdGeAs/sub 2/. The 13 mm long (6 mm X 6 mm cross-section) OPO crystal was cut for type I phase-matching at 33/spl deg/ and was grown using the horizontal gradient freeze technique.
